I've been here for 30 years. Picked the town because of the commute to NYC. We have a train but it is a reduced service station. There is a parkway on the edge of town that is just prior to the normal backups. Very quiet and safe. Small town feel in large metro area. Taxes are the bad part. We have our own police, sanitation, mayor, village gov't and schools, but you pay for it. That is on top of the usual high taxes for the area.
